Saturday May 18, 10.30am - The Friendly Letter
Lama Jampa will continue to teach the Friendly Letter, composed by the great Indian philosopher Nagarjuna. The Friendly Letter is a supremely clear account of how we can practise the threefold path of morality, meditation and wisdom. To elucidate the text, Lama Jampa will teach according to the detailed commentary, The Telescope of Wisdom by Karma Thinley Rinpoche. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Saturday May 18, 2.30pm - The Initiation of Black Manjushri
Lama Jampa will give the initiation of Black Manjushri. This initiation belongs to the famed Golden Dharmas of the Sakya tradition. The system of meditation on the black form of Manjushri, the embodiment of wisdom, is especially valued as a remedy to many obstacles that can confront us in dharma practice and work. Refuge and the bodhisattva vow will be given to everyone during the preliminary part of the initiation.
Saturday May 25, 10.30am - Accessing Wisdom - The Life and Teachings of Sakya Pandita
Lama Jampa will share the life story of Sakya Pandita, the fourth of the five founding lamas of the Sakya tradition of Buddhism who gave it its distinctive shape. Sakya Pandita was renowned throughout Tibet and beyond for the depth of his knowledge and mastery of all the teachings. He was also instrumental in preserving the efficacy of the dharma by clarifying the misunderstandings which arose during the early history of Buddhism in Tibet. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Saturday May 25, 2.30pm - The Initiation of Sakya Pandita
Lama Jampa will bestow the initiation of Sakya Pandita which confers the authority to meditate on the vajrayana deity yoga of Sakya Pandita. Refuge and the bodhisattva vow will be given to everyone during the preliminary part of the initiation.
Thursday May 30, 6.30pm - The Initiation of Green Tara from the Lineage of Shakyashri Bhadra
Meditation on Green Tara is one of the most widely practised in Tibetan Buddhism. The goddess herself is the embodiment of the liberating activity of all the buddhas. The Green Tara initiation and meditation are especially effective means of awakening one’s innate capacity for enlightened compassion. Lama Jampa will bestow the initiation from the lineage of Shakyashri Bhadra. Refuge and the bodhisattva vow will be given to everyone during the preliminary part of the initiation.

Lama Jampa will bestow the Initiation of Yellow Dzambhala. This initiation bestows the authority to meditate on Yellow Dzambala from the collection of Bari Lotsawa. Dzambala is one of the most important Vajrayana deities associated with the increase of prosperity and positive conditions for spiritual practice.
